“It’s always been more than just clothes—it’s about redefining fashion to be ethical, glamorous, and meaningful,” said Pooja at the official preview. “Our brides have always asked for outfits that reflect both tradition and responsibility. Now, they have them.”

From Passion to Couture: The Evolution of a Designer 

Founded in 2022 by Pooja, a Jalandhar-born costume designer with professional training in Fashion Designing and hands-on experience at Poshak Boutique, Stitches and Polished quickly established itself as a hub for custom costumes and occasion wear. Built on the principles of ethical luxury and sustainable fashion, the studio has become a favourite among young clients, brides-to-be, and cultural organisers.

The Collection: Organic Elegance with a Modern Edge 

– Hand-dyed fabrics using natural pigments like turmeric, rose petals, and indigo. – Recycled silks and organza sourced from surplus stock in Gujarat and West Bengal. – Plastic-free embroidery crafted with banana fibre threads and recycled glass beads. – Customisable, limited-edition designs, allowing brides to co-create their dream outfits sustainably.

With only 50 bridal outfits planned for 2025, the brand is emphasising quality over quantity, catering to brides who value intentionality over mass-market glamour.
